For dairy cattle breeders, one of the major challenges in production is exposure to heat stress, which is caused by hot and relatively long weather conditions, strong sunlight for a long time, and high relative humidity. The production and accumulation of heat, along with the disturbance in cooling, increases the thermal load thereby increasing the body temperature, reducing feed intake, and, ultimately, lowering the efficiency. In this supplement, an attempt was made to prevent damage caused by heat stress using the appropriate levels of vitamins and minerals, especially organic chromium, and its effective role in reducing heat stress.
